1. Information We Collect

• Account Info: Name, email, mobile number (like your signup data) when you register or post ad.
• Ad Content: Title, description, price, photos, location (city) of product you list.
• Tickets/Support: Name, email, phone (e.g. ticket table phone column), subject, message when you contact us via /contact.php or /my-tickets.php
• Usage Data: IP address, device, browser, search queries (e.g. cars in Delhi), pages viewed.
• Cookies: For login session, preferences, analytics.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To show your ads to buyers across India - Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc.
• To allow chat between buyer & seller (bs_olx_conversations, messages tables).
• To create & manage support tickets (tickets table - id, user_id, name, email, phone, status).
• To send OTP, ticket updates, fraud alerts.
• To improve site - trending searches like "second hand cars", "OLX alternative".

3. Mobile Number Privacy

Your mobile number entered in tickets or ads is:

• Visible to admin in phpMyAdmin browse & admin-tickets.php for support.
• Visible to interested buyers only after they click "Show Number" (if enabled).
• Never sold to third-party marketing companies.
• Stored encrypted in database u829053558_Bharatsetu - tickets.phone column.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

• Hosting: Hostinger (srv833) for database storage.
• Payment (if future): Razorpay/UPI - we don't store card data.
• Legal: If required by Indian law enforcement.

We DO NOT sell your email/mobile to advertisers.

5. Your Rights (as per DPDP Act 2023, India)

• View your tickets anytime at /my-tickets.php - Open & Closed tickets with status.
• Request data deletion: Email support@bharatsetu.online from your registered email.
• Update mobile/email from My Account page.
• Delete ad: My Ads > Delete.

6. Cookies

We use cookies for login, my-account.php dashboard, my-ads.php, wishlist, chat. You can disable cookies but chat & login may not work.

7. Security

Database protected with prepared statements (SQL injection safe). Passwords hashed. Tickets table uses user_id to prevent others seeing your tickets unless they know your exact email/phone. We recommend not sharing OTP.

8. Children's Privacy

Not for under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
